- Homework: Read Chapter 20 in The Kite Runner. Make sure that you create a SOAPSTONE chart for each chapter in your spiral notebooks. Reflect on the question “How do my personal (self) actions impact the future of society?” from the perspectives of Amir, Hassan, and Soraya and write a short reflection on the essential question based on the actions of Amir, Hassan, Soraya (reflections should need to be longer than 250 words). Remember to incorporate textual evidence.
- Pre-work for Socratic Seminar: Write ten questions total to discuss during Socratic Seminar tomorrow. Make sure to include textual evidence related to characterization (5) and symbolism (5). We will discuss chapters #1-10 tomorrow.
